Liked it right away: poppy and powerful, a touch less than the Perseus IV but easier to control and lighter.
“I tried the Vapor Power today and I liked it right away. Poppy, powerful but slightly less than the Perseus IV. Easier to control.”
Pretty happy with it after the Six Zero DBD lacked power.
“I am currently using 11six24 Vapor power and Hurache-X power, pretty happy with them.”
High power and pop with a crisp, low-dwell feel, good spin, good balance, high stability and a very large sweet spot.
“It’s crisp with not a lot of dwell. Spin is also good but nothing elite. Maneuverability is good and the paddle feels well balanced. Stability is high and the sweet spot is very large.”
Two of them, never core-crushed; light and fast at the net, but the grit wears quickly.
“Vapor power is light which is great for faster net play. Unfortunately the only downside to the vapor power is that I feel the grit doesn’t last too long.”
Light to swing with a large sweet spot; they weighted it up to 8.9 oz.
“My Vapor feels so light to swing and the sweet spot is large.”
Enjoys it: less powerful than the Scorpeus 3S but a bit easier to control, with similar spin.
“I have a Vapor Power which I enjoy playing with and loved playing with my Collin Johns' 16mm Scorpeus 3S. The vapor power is not nearly as powerful as the scorpeus.”
Their main paddle; more controllable than the Pegasus Power.
“Pegasus power is a LOT of power; super hard to control (Vapor power is my current main, and pegasus power is a step above it)”
Prefers its consistency over the Joola Pro IV after testing most recent power paddles.
“I use the Vapor Power and have tested almost all the recent power paddle releases. I prefer the consistency of the VP over the Pro IV.”
Loved it so much they bought the Power 2 on release day.
“last winter I bought a secondhand vapor power paddle and loved it so much I got the vapor power 2 the day it released.”
Prefers its denser, more predictable feel and extra pop over the Vapor Alpha Pro Power.
“I have the Vapor Power and Vapor APP and they feel completely different to me, both right out of the box and after break-in for both. I prefer the dense, predictable feel and increased pop of th”
Their main at 3.5: does everything well without much adjustment after an early pop-up phase.
“I main the VP. I’m playing at 3.5 level and I feel like I can hit the shots I need to without much adjustment.”
An excellent long-time main, but the stiff feel bothered them and caused slight forearm pain.
“I mained the VP for a long time and it’s an excellent paddle for sure but the really stiff feel really bothered me and after long sessions even lead to slight forearm pain.”
Enjoyable with a larger sweet spot, but it felt dead next to the Scorpeus Pro IV.
“I bought both the vapor power and scorpeus iv 16mm and while I enjoyed playing with the vapor it just lacked a little something for me. While the sweet spot is larger it still felt dead to me.”
They love it about a month into owning it.
“I love my Vapor right now and I’ve only had for a month”
After 4 hours: bigger usable sweet spot and roughly 15–25% more power than the Vapor All Court, but less topspin on serves.
“Sweet spot: this is a small advantage to the VP with more of the face activated. If you hit towards the lower 25% of the VAC you might mishit, not the case with the VP.”
Their game benefits from the Vapor's control and sweet spot, more than a Boomstik they returned.
“my game benefits way more from the control and sweet spot of the vapor”
Their best game was the first; since then it hasn't given them the spin they get from other paddles.
“I’ve got a Vapor Power. My best game with it, was my first. Not so great from there. In my brain, I’m just not getting the spin I want, and get, from some other paddles. Very frustrated.”
Great, controllable power at a strong price, but theirs had a curved, damaged handle and went back.
“It plays well power is great while still very controllable. IMO the price is its strongest feature. Unfortunately I had to return mine because it had a messed up handle and was curved.”
One game at 4.0–4.5: a full power paddle, stiffer with less dwell than the original MOD TA 15, and excellent value.
“Tried the Vapor power for one game. Super small sample size obviously, so take with a grain of salt.”
About 6 hours in: likes it a lot, with more speed off the face than their Selkirk Luxx S2.
“Have about 6 hours play on my vapor power and I do like it a lot.”
About 5 hours: a really good paddle, more pop than Trufoam, an 8/10 paddle at a 10/10 price.
“I have a vapor power. Have about 5 hours with it. It's a really good paddle. Not the best ever but far from the worst.”
No core crush after 50+ hours; power unchanged and slightly more forgiving.
“No. Mine has 50+ hours and it plays like early on. Power is the same and it has opened a bit and become a tad more forgiving.”
Heavy use with only a slightly softer feel; a very solid, durable paddle.
“Ive beat the heck out of mine and all I’ve noticed is a softer feeling off the face. Very solid paddle!”
Great power, quick at the net and a huge sweet spot.
“Loving mine. Great power, quick at the net, huge sweet spot.”
Hits hard with it and it's held up: very durable and solid.
“Mine hasn’t and I hit hard with it. Very durable and solid.”
Likes their weighted Vapor a lot; it gave more control and power on overheads than a demo Boomstik.
“I play with a weighted Vapor and I like it a lot”
Their main paddle; loves everything about it.
“Coincidentally the Vapor Power is my main. I love everything about it.”
Used it a handful of times and disliked it, preferring a Boomstik.
“I have used the vapor a hand full of times and instantly kinda hate it.”
Loved it over six months, though the Quanta R4's sweet-spot feel now suits them better.
“I used a Vapor Power for six months and recently got a Quanta R4. I loved the Vapor”
Better feel than a Boomstik, with great touch on resets and drops.
“The vapor has a better feel … I tried both and the vapor has awesome touch for resets, drops etc”
Covered in ball marks after two sessions, though a bargain at the sale price.
“I recently bought the Vapor Power and it's riddled with ball marks after 2 sessions.”
Better than a gen 2 paddle but not close to their Hyperion Pro IV in any category after a few games.
“I picked up an 11six24 Vapor Power and played a few games…. it was like “not that close” to the Joola in any meaningful category . Better than a Gen 2, sure”
A very satisfied owner who sees no need to pay more for a Pro IV.
“Admittedly they are nice paddles. But I think they are overpriced. I am a very satisfied Vapor Power owner.”
Loved it: hit great, fast in the hands and plenty of power.
“I previously had the original Vapor Power and loved it. It hit great, allowed for fast hands, and had plenty of power.”
