Bantam TKO-C

Tried the 14mm TKO-C against the TW CRBN: fun defensively with great reach and a plush feel, but they kept hitting serves and drives off the sweet spot and it felt top-heavy, so they chose the CRBN.

“The 14mm TKO-C was a fun defensive paddle for me and if you play heavy BH where you're sitting on a BH counter this paddle is fun.”

Demoed the TKO-C in 12.7 and 14.3mm: the 12.7 had more pop but only in the center and lost stability, the 14.3 was better for drops, resets and dinks; both felt head-light with a short handle.

“The 12.7mm had more pop and putaway power, but only if you hit it the center of the paddle and it gave up a lot of stability on resets and volleys.”

Two days in with the TKO-C 14.3mm after a Gen 3 Hyperion: very poppy for put-aways, but a noticeably smaller and higher sweet spot and a loud sound; added neck weight for stability.

“It is very poppy and provides adequate power. It is surprisingly poppy which helps with put away volleys, overhead slams, and speed ups.”

Switched from the Volair Mach 1 Forza to the TKO-C 14.3mm and finds it has a ton of power and good spin.

Gave up the TKO-C after 6 months: loved the power on drives but could never make their soft game consistent despite months of work.

Mained the TKO-C 14.3 for 4 months but found it too unforgiving for their level.

“Then I went to the Paddletek Bantam TKO-C 14.3 and mained that for 4 months. I was not nearly good enough to play with something that was not that forgiving.”
