Their widebody felt weak for the first few hours, but once they learned how much input it needs it plays fine.

“i have a coral pro widebody after using the vsol pro widebody for 4 months. the first few hours of coral pro, i thought the paddle was so weak.”
mixed

Its head-light balance made top-half contact very unforgiving and the sweet spot sat close to the handle until they added weight up top.

“Elongated here, I run 0.35g/inch strip totaling to 2gr from 9 to 11 and 1 to 3 and pink hesacore.”
mixedsmall sweet spot

With a cap coin, Hesacore and tape around the head, their hybrid is super solid and stable and very easy to reset with.

“I have been tinkering with my Coral Pro Hybrid set-up but I think I have finalized it for me.”
positivegood control

Poppier than the original Coral at first, but after about 15 hours it softened and they're very happy they didn't return it.

“Be patient with it. You will feel it poppier than the original one, so you might have some trouble with resets and drops.”
positivegreat pop

They nearly returned it, but after about 15 hours it plays much better.

“Almost returned it too, kept picking it up and using and after about 15 hrs it’s playing sooo much better.”
positive

Obsessed with their Rainbow: elite spin and the best grit durability they've had.

“I have the Rainbow and I'm obsessed with it. Best looking paddle, elite spin, and best grit durability.”
positivelots of spin

The face still looks fine but the edge guard design scuffs off easily; they like it anyway.

“While my coral pro's face looks fine, the edge guard shows a lot of wear.”
positive

After a month at 15+ hours a week, it still looks like new.

“Ordered day 1, got it for fathers day; so a month ago. I play 15+ hours a week. Still looks like new.”
positive

Owned since the original release at 10+ hours a week with no noticeable wear.

“Ordered mine during the original release and play 10+ hours a week with no noticeable wear.”
positive

Next to the Vapor Power 2 and J2CR CBE the power is similar, but it is a bit less poppy and its feel makes it the most controllable of the three for them.

“I think they all have very similar power. Coral Pro being less poppy (nothing drastic though).”
positivegood control

They found it head-heavy and slow at the kitchen until a 6g weight at the bottom of the handle made it feel much lighter to swing and flick.

“I also found my Coral Pro to be head-heavy and slow at the kitchen. The problem was fixed by adding a 6g coin weight to bottom of the handle.”
mixed

Tried the hybrid in Rainbow, found the grit lacking and returned it.

“I tried the hybrid Pro in Rainbow. Felt the grit was lacking and ended up returning it.”
negativelow spin

Returned it: the face had a bulge near the top, it was already head-heavy, and the dead area at the top hurt their dinks, resets and counters.

“I had the same issue and ultimately returned the Coral Pro. Mines was the UPA-A Rainbow colored version.”
negativedead spots

The dead top of the paddle costs them a couple of points per game, a disappointment after the hype.

“I'm really hating how dead the end of the coral pro feels. It's happening a couple times per game”
negativedead spots

It has definite dead spots off the sweet spot and they couldn't get a feel for it before adding weight.

“Definitely dead spots if you don’t hit the sweet spot.”
negativedead spots

The ball completely dies on slightly off-centre hits, which their three other paddles never do.

“I have noticed the same issues on paddle, the ball just completely dies on slight off center hits and has been very inconsistent.”
negativedead spots

First day with corner weights: great for volleys with more put-away power than their old paddle, though drops and resets popped up while they adjust.

“I just got mine yesterday and tried it today with your setup. It's great for volleys.”
positive

Better than the J2CR in every way side by side, with far better fit and finish.

“I compared the Coral Pro and J2CR side by side and everything for me was better with the coral pro. On top of that, the fit and finish of the 6-0 was 100x better than Honolulu.”
positive

Went from hopeless to happy over 25 hours; less pop stock without weights.

“I found less pop with no weights on a new coral Pro. I'm now 25hrs in and I've gone from hopeless to happy.”
positive

Loves it alongside their Enhance MPP Turbo and finds it the better paddle at the kitchen.

“My MPP turbo is mean. I did also yolo into a Coral Pro, but it was only 170 after discount lol. I love em both. Coral is better for the kitchen tho”
positive

A few sessions in after the Loco Elongated: better control on resets and drops, more spin, faster hands, still enough pop.

“Compared to my Loco, the Coral Pro gives me: Better control, especially on resets and drops. More spin without feeling like I have to force it. Faster hand speed at the kitchen.”

Better than the Loco Hybrid in every way except overheads, which don't hit as hard.

“i went from Loco Hybrid to Coral Pro Hybrid, i feel like the Coral Pro is superior in every way except overheads.”
positive

Very similar to the original Coral with a bit more dip on drives and a slightly stiffer feel that loosened up.

“I just got my Coral Pro today and it’s very similar to the Coral. There is a little more dip to the drives”
positive

Elongated version: a bit more power than the original Coral, but a smaller, less forgiving sweet spot; recommends the Hybrid.

“its stiffer face due to the upgraded grit can be felt on hits and it amps the power by a bit compared to the original Coral”
mixedsmall sweet spot

Owns it and the Ultré: more all-court, with less pop and power, so resets under pressure are easier.

“The Coral Pro Hybrid is definitely the more all-court-oriented paddle of the two. It has a little less pop and power, and because of that it’s slightly easier to reset with when you’re under pressure.”
positivegood control

Fast in the hand and a bit muted, great for walling bangers in doubles, but short on put-away power.

“Coral pro is great for doubles against bangers because it’s fast in the hand and a bit muted in power so you can just put up a wall and get some nice control shots.”
mixedfast handsgood control

The Coral Pro is effortless: easy resets at people's feet, nasty spin on demand and easy put-aways without losing placement; a partner was amazed. 11/10.

“The Coral is effortless. Easy miscount resets at peoples feet. Spin is nasty when I want it.”
positivelots of spingood control

Three months of heavy use and no grit or spin loss on their Coral Pro.

“3 months of heavy use and absolutely zero grit or spin loss.”
positive

Switched to the Coral Pro and three months later it's still like new.

“Switched to Coral Pro and 3 months later still like the day I got it.”
positive

A week in and amazed: more precision and punch on rolls and counters, and more bite on topspin drives and dinks; no dead spots so far.

“my backhand rolls and counters have more precision and punch, and my top spin drives and dinks really seem to have more bite.”

The edge guard came off after the first session.

“used it for the first time this Saturday and got the edge guard came off already. Pretty upsetting with how easily it came off..”
negativedurability issues

Edge guard damaged after three careful uses.

“Mine looks almost the same. And i had used it 3x, never bumped paddles with anyone, was being intentionally careful.”
negativedurability issues

Tried it; the sweet spot was much smaller than their RPM Q2's.

“I tried the coral pro. Didn't have nearly the sweetspot my rpm q2 does”
negativesmall sweet spot

Their paddle has a large dead spot at the top; they went back to their previous paddles.

“The top part of the paddle has a massive dead spot where the ball will just die if you’re slightly off the sweet spot.”
negativedead spots

Both the original and the warranty replacement had dead spots near the top edges; switched to the Ultré Power 2.

“there is a significant drop off in energy transfer from hitting the sweet spot vs. closer to those top edges.”
negativedead spots

Six Zero confirmed their paddle had detached at the top; they asked for a refund.

“They acknowledged it “detached at the top”. I’m not going to try a replacement for fear of more detachment issues”
negativedead spotsdurability issues

Feels head-heavy, but they play very well with it and miss fewer resets.

“The Coral Pro feels uncomfortably head heavy to me but I always seem to play really well with it especially in tournaments”
mixedgood control

Has used the Coral Pro before and calls it a great paddle.

“No issues at all. The cool factor is enough for me. Plus it’s a coral pro, so great paddle I’ve used before.”
positive

A control-seeker who did not like the Coral Pro after the original Coral.

“I've been chasing control for a bit, since my original Coral. I did not like the Coral Pro.”
negative

Owns the Vapor Power 2, Ultré Power 2 and Coral Pro: the Coral Pro is the softer, more control-oriented and feel-oriented of the three, and their favourite.

“The Coral is my favorite - the others are too “poppy” for me.”
positivegood controlsoft

Using the Coral Pro since June and the spin on serves and drives still feels as good as new.

“Been using the Coral Pro since June and think the spin is as good as brand new.”
positivelots of spin

The Coral Pro's grit has held up extremely well, but a large dead spot near the top seems to be getting worse.

“My Coral Pro has held up extremely well grit-wise, but the massive deadspot near the top of the paddle feels like it has only gotten worse.”
mixeddead spots

After months of use the Coral Pro still has true tier 1 grit; the spin feels the same.

“Both Coral Pro and Power 2 are true tier 1 grits after months of use.”
positivelots of spin

Found the Coral Pro head-heavy with a high balance point and a dead spot; a 6 g cap coin in the handle fixed it.

“Putting a 6g cap coin at the bottom of the handle fixed the dead spot issue for me.”
mixeddead spots

Chose the Coral Pro for its foam core, elite durable grit and USAP approval, and loves it; plays it with an overgrip and no added weight.

“it’s the Six Zero Coral Pro. I love it.”
positivelots of spin

Thought their Coral Pro had dead spots, but after 10 days of play they were gone; break-in or adjustment, plus 2 g at the four corners.

“I thought I had dead spots on mine but after playing for over 10 days it's gone.”
positive

When blocking hard smashes, their Coral Pro absorbs the ball and it drops.

“when a player smashes the ball and I go for a block, the paddle juat absorbs it and drops.”
mixeddead spots

The Coral and Coral Pro are the paddles they always come back to: rock solid in every metric, now with the grit the original lacked.

“Doesn't do anything wild, but is rock solid in every metric.”
positive

Their main for two months at 7–9 hours a week, the Coral Pro widebody stock: fast at the kitchen with great touch and power on demand; the first 10 hours took adjusting.

“Fast hands at the kitchen, great touch and power when you need it.”
positivefast hands

One of the top two paddles they play: plenty of power and pop and great spin.

“More than adequate power and pop, great spin, and it just feels right in your hand.”
positivelots of spin

Feels dead off the sweet spot; some weight tape helped.

“It does tend to feel dead if you are not in the sweet spot. Some tape weights helped”
mixeddead spots

Mains the Coral Pro Hybrid stock and won gold at a 3.5 tournament and bronze under 4.0; recommends edge guard tape.

“I main the Coral Pro Hybrid, no weights, fully stock.”
positive

Played some of their best pickleball with the Coral Pro, returned it for Jelly Bean 2s, and regretted it within a week.

positive

Loved everything about their Coral Pro Elongated (grit, colour, design), but it never worked out for them, perhaps from impatience with break-in.

mixed

A few weeks in, they feel slow at the net with the Coral Pro and keep missing the sweet spot; stock feels best of the setups tried.

“Feel slow at the net game and somehow missing the sweet spot most of the time !”
mixed

Five games with a broken-in Coral Pro Hybrid: easy to pick up, very good control, excellent spin and great at the kitchen, a bit less power and pop than their Pegasus Power 2.

“Very easy to pick up and play, very good control”
positivegood controllots of spin

Their Rainbow Coral Pro had less grit than other Coral Pros, and Six Zero refused the warranty because it had been played.

negativelow spin

Never found a soft game with their Loco, so they bought a Coral Pro and couldn't be happier.

positive

Demoed the Coral Pro Hybrid after an original Loco: slightly less power than they'd like, but resets are a breeze and control at the kitchen is the best part.

“the resets are an absolute breeze.”
positivegood controlgreat for dinks

Hates the Coral Pro despite its popularity, and went back to their Loco.

“Funny, I feel the same about the Coral Pro. I hate it, but many people love it.”
negative

About 20 hours on the Coral Pro: the grit is unchanged, plenty of pop, far more controllable than their Loco, and no dead spots noticed.

“It has plenty of pop and is far more controllable than my previous B&B Loco.”
positivegreat popgood control

About 70 hours and the grit is as good as new; the best paddle they've owned.

“About 70 hours with my Coral Pro and grit is as good as new. Best paddle I’ve ever owned.”
positive

Just got the hybrid Coral Pro and is very happy: some weaker points near the top but not dead spots, with only a small fall-off on mishits.

“There are some weaker points towards the top. But I would not go as far as to say they are dead spots.”
positive

A 4.25 who owns the Coral Pro and found it amazing: the durable grit lets them trust it to grab the ball on slower kitchen volleys.

positivelots of spin

Played very well with the Coral Pro hybrid, but disliked the shape and feel: too muted even dead-centre, leaving them guessing about contact.

“I tried a coral pro hybrid to cover both and played very well with the paddle but I do not like the shape or feel.”
mixed

Plays their Coral Pro widebody stock and loves it.

“I currently play mine stock and it’s fine, i love the paddle”
positive

The Coral Pro widebody is the first paddle in a long time they've played without weight; adding it at 3 and 6 made it worse.

“This is the first paddle I have run without weight in a long time.”
positive

Plays it stock and loves it: great power when needed with control always there.

“I play it stock and love it. Great power when needed but off course the control is always there”
positivegood control

A big fan of the Coral Pro Hybrid's performance, but with large hands they can't fit two hands on the handle for two-handed backhands.

“I recently started playing with a Coral Pro Hybrid and am a big fan of the paddle performance with the sole exception of the handle.”
mixed

Tried their sister's Coral Pro: loved the grit, but drives took too much effort and pops and resets felt inconsistent, sometimes dead.

“Pops and resers on the coral pro was also inconsistent to me because it seems dead sometimes.”
negativedead spots

No problems driving or returning with the Coral Pro, though it punishes poor form on drives.

“I don’t find any issue driving or returning on it. The coral pro isn’t a beginner paddle and it very much punishes bad form”
positive

Moved from an unreliable Black Opal to the Coral Pro and loves it.

“I changed to the Coral Pro. I love it.”
positive

Loves their Coral Pro: lots of grit and a good all-court paddle.

positivelots of spin

Has been playing the Coral Pro in the widebody shape and enjoying it, without feeling a need to add weight.

positive

Played a demo Coral Pro (hybrid) and really liked it; coming from a J2CR, they were surprised how well they played with less power and more control.

“I usually play with a J2CR and I was surprised how well I played with less power and more control.”
