The V-Sol Pro is their favourite paddle.
“I currently have with the V-Sol Pro and it is my favorite paddle.”
The V-Sol Pro's pop took time to rein in, but once they got the hang of it they love it and haven't touched their Prism since.
“once I got the hang of it man I LOVE the paddle. Haven’t touched my prism since probably December.”
Loving the V-Sol Pro Bloom; added weight cut their hand speed, so they play it stock with exceptional hand speed and solid drives.
“I have the V-Sol Pro Bloom also and I'm loving it. I tried it stock first.”
Tried the V-Sol Pro Flash with a little weight and absolutely loved it, enjoying it far more than their J6FC+.
“Just tried out the v-sol pro flash, with 3g at 3,9 and where it curves down tot he throat, and absolutely loved it.”
Playing the V-Sol Pro several times a week since September at a 4.7 level, the grit is worn but spin is still totally playable thanks to the dwell.
“I’ve been playing multiple times a week with a vsol pro v7 I’ve had since September the grit is definitely worn but with the dwell the spin I can generate is totally playable”
After 2 hours their V-Sol Pro Bloom felt great with good power and consistency, but it came in heavy at 8.19 oz, slowing their hands.
“For clarity I played with the paddle 2h today and overall it felt pretty great. Good combo of power and consistency, only the hand speed was a bit disappointing due to the higher-than-expected weight.”
Their weighted V-Sol Pro Hybrid long handle hits nearly as hard as a Boomstik with good pop at the net, but can pop up dinks and drops.
“Hits hard close to or similar to the Boomstik. Has some good pop at the net for hands battles and put aways. Gotta watch out not to pop your dinks and drops though.”
Coming from a Vapor Power, they love the V-Sol Pro Flash long handle on drives and put-aways, with more pop and easier two-handers.
“I have the flash LH and I am loving it so for, coming from a 11six24 vapor power and I really like the way the Vatic feels on drives and put always, it also has a bit more pop.”
Finds the V-Sol Pro long handle a bit stiff and muted with low grit, but with good pop and controllable power; excellent value.
“A little stiff and slightly muted but feels a lot like a gen 3 paddle. Good pop and power (more pop than the Quanta) while still being controllable.”
Their first session with the V-Sol Pro Hybrid didn't feel great, so they're experimenting with added weight.
“Just got my V-Sol Pro hybrid, first hitting session didn't feel great.”
After four months with the widebody, it's still their top pick for best budget paddle.
“i do still really like the vsol pro and it still takes my top pick as best budget paddle.”
An 11six24 fan says it's hard to beat for $99: no break-in, a huge sweet spot and it plays beautifully stock with no weight.
“for $99, its hard to beat the Vatic Pro-V sol. No break in and it plays with a huge sweet spot and no weight beautifully stock.”
Just got one; the grit is on another level, and they'd happily rebuy at $100 when it wears off.
“I just got one, the grit is on another level, I know it will wear off but I honestly don’t mind paying 100 pretty frequently for this paddle”
After playing it they went back to their 11six24 APP, preferring how Gen 3 paddles feel to foam.
“I actually went back to my APP after playing with a v-sol pro and much preferred it.”
The best of their six paddles; an old tennis player who tried it said its dwell was the closest to a tennis racquet he'd felt.
“I have the Pro Bloom. Best paddle I’ve had so far out of 6.”
Their second one took a few sessions to break in, going from muted to responsive; their early-production first unit had almost no grit.
“I actually got a 2nd vsol pro and noticed it took a few sessions to break it in. Originally it felt super muted and now it feels more responsive.”
The Bloom had a huge sweet spot, was great at the kitchen and gave them their fastest hands ever, but felt defensive, so they moved to the Flash.
“I used the bloom LH for a while but I think I prefer a shorter handle for the bloom but it's only available in LH currently.”
Loved it first time out: excellent control, light, plenty of spin and predictable power.
“Vatic V-Sol Pro - I played with this for the first time today and loved it. Excellent control, very light in the hand, plenty of spin and power.”
Their main paddle; with side weight it gains power and stability and feels great to hit hard.
“Love the V-Sol Pro V7. Weight on the sides ups its power and stability.”
A straight upgrade from the Prism Flash: more power with the same control on resets and dinks.
“You can hit the ball harder/deeper with less effort, and with no more difficulty hitting resets and precise dinks. I see it as a straight upgrade from the Prism.”
Played very similarly to the Luzz Inferno side by side; the budget pick.
“when I hit the Inferno and the V-Sol Pro Bloom side-by-side they played very similarly.”
Has loved their V-Sol Pro Flash for over six months.
“I have the v-sol pro flash for over 6 months and love it, got the tour hybrid and hate it.”
The Bloom shape felt no more powerful than their Prism Flash and had a tiny sweet spot; they returned it.
“after using it for a week it doesn't feel more powerful or poppy at all, and the sweet spot seems absolutely tiny.”
Night and day over the Prism Flash: much more pop, power and sweet spot.
“I’ve also swapped from a Prism Flash 16mm to a V-Sol Pro Bloom and the difference to me is night and day.”
Not a bad paddle, but the V7 shape felt 90% like the Prism with a narrower sweet spot.
“I just got a v-sol pro hoping it’d give a bit more power, but honestly, it feels 90% the same as the prism.”
Loved it enough to buy a second after six months; hopes for a durable-grit version.
“Literally bought a second one after playing with my first one for 6 months. I absolutely love this paddle.”
Bought a second after two weeks; great value for the price.
“Love this paddle so much I just committed to having 2 and not bothering trying any new brands for the foreseeable future.”
Six months in and really happy; bought a spare.
“I've been playing with that paddle for about 6 months and I'm really happy with it.”
Instantly noticeable jump in power and pop over the Prism.
“Way more power and pop. I just did this same upgrade and it's instantly noticeable.”
A few weeks in: amazing for their soft game.
“I have been playing with mine for a few weeks and I love it! It is amazing for my soft game.”
Good pop, control and feel; bought the widebody too for faster hands.
“The foam provides some good pop, it has good control and feel on contact.”
Loves it and finds it very responsive to lead tape.
“Love mine! Weights in the middle and handle area, this paddle is very responsive to weights.”
Calls it a game changer; their whole group switched to it.
“Love this paddle! My pb coach let me use his, consequently, I have shared with my pb group, and we all have this paddle now.”
Loves the elongated V7 shape after switching from the Quanta R2; great value.
“I went from the Quanta R2 to the VSol Pro V7. Switched primarily to try out the elongated version. I love it”
Bloom shape: the Prism's strengths plus controllable pop and power.
“I got the bloom a couple of months ago. All the benefits of the prism with controllable pop and power.”
Pricier paddles they tried added pop but lost control compared with this one.
“Is there really an upgrade from this paddle? I've tried some of the fancy stuff like vapor power 2, boomstik, Hyperion and kosmos 5, and j2cr”
Each Vatic upgrade up to this one was huge, but the grit doesn't last.
“I was a Vatic lifer and went straight up the line from your paddle to the Saga. and then this newest one. Each upgrade was huge.”
Loves the long-handle Flash for how predictable it is, after many Honolulu paddles.
“I love my long handle vsol pro flash. But its a different feel but so so predictable the transition is not bad.”
Their most-used paddle: feels better and more predictable than their Joola or Boomstik and is great value, though the spin fades.
“But the Vatic just feels better and is more predictable for me and I can buy 3 Vatics for the price of a Joola or a Boomstick.”
Feels like a stiff, hollow plank with far too much vibration for them.
“At least for the j2nf / v-sol pro / quanta, I can tell where the ball is hitting, but it's almost lost in the noise of so MUCH vibration.”
Absolutely loves it, with more pop than the Prism Flash; the most fun paddle they've had in six years.
“I started with the Flash. Now I have V SOL pro and absolutely love the thing.”
Their favourite after many high-end paddles; only the grit durability disappoints.
“my favorite paddle rn is the vsol pro and ive used the pro IV, gearbox PPE, ripple v2, franklin c45, loco, and boomstick among others”
Enjoys the V-Sol Pro as a first paddle for aggressive net play with a badminton background, but after six months it's no longer as gritty.
“I quite enjoy this paddle as my first paddle.”
A 4.8 player says the V-Sol Pro helped them improve, but they hated its non-linear power response from the baseline.
