Played the 14mm for about 8 months, doubles around 3.8. Hand speed at the kitchen is great and spin is decent, but the face started going dead near the throat after maybe 5 months and the pop dropped off noticeably. Had to replace it. For what it costs i expected it to last longer.

Took a few sessions to get used to it, beginning was a bit hard to control but by the 4th session felt much better, with better control, big sweep spot, fun and loud paddle.
“very light, balanced feel, respect to RPM for always having head light 14mm’s First 2/3 sessions with the Jade were pretty awful. SUPER jarring on mishits, sweet spot was tiny, bit hard to control, bit of an ugly feel. Felt like an all gas no brakes type of paddle. Wasn’t impressed with the spin even though I’m a VERY spin, and finesse oriented player. Maybe by the 4th session it broke in, it’s a very different paddle. Sweet spot got bigger, spin got better (likely due to softening up), control got easier, bit more predictable on where the ball was going to go. Maybe it needs more breaking in, but I still can’t really justify $300 in price. Sounds very loud, VERY loud and fun paddle, probably makes you think you’re hitting harder than you actually are”
Very balanced and easiest paddle he ever played with, quick and maneuverable
“This paddle was buttery smooth! Very well-balanced across all aspects of the game. Hands down one of the best, if not THE best and easiest, swinging paddles I’ve used for one-handed backhands. It felt incredibly natural and fluid through the swing while remaining quick and maneuverable during hand battles. I enjoyed it significantly more than the Perseus Pro V. Spin was perfectly fine, although I somehow couldn’t land an ATP with it during play.”
Doesn't love the Coral Pro: it has good spin but feels fairly poppy, and they find the face can be inconsistent. Would suggest a newer player stick with a softer paddle.
“I don’t love the coral pro, while it has good spin I think it’s fairly poppy and I don’t see a player of 3.5 months really taking advantage of the spin in many ways.”

After about 8 hours the Spitfire Widebody has lots of pop, great spin and plays light and fast at the kitchen; a hollow sound but a great deal.
“I have the widebody. About 8 hours of play. Lots of pop. Very hollow sound. Great spin and I actually love it at the kitchen.”
The Spitfire Elongated feels head heavy and slow at the kitchen even with weights low, but drives are top notch and spin comes easily.
“I have the elongated, weights on sides but more towards the bottom since its head heavy, and feels heavy for kitchen for me though drives are top notch and spins are easier”
A Coral Pro widebody owner loves it as a placement-over-power paddle with practically no grit wear.

Five weeks with the Spitfire Elongated: loves it on serves and drives, though it's a bit poppy so resets under pressure are hard.

This buyer's Coral Pro had dead spots and the warranty wasn't honored, though a friend's played great.
“So if you get one that doesn't suck, it could be great.”
After 2-3 hours the Spitfire Elongated feels much heavier than its 116 swing weight because of its balance.
“I've only played with the elongated for like 2-3 hours, but it feels way heavier than 116 swingweight because of the balance.”

“Been maining the Coral Pro for about 3 months now. Really enjoying it.”
After a week maining the Spitfire Widebody: spin feels like cheating, the face is like one giant sweet spot, and hands at the kitchen are fast.
“The widebody shape is super forgiving, to the point of the entire face almost feeling like one giant sweet spot.”
This player loved the original Luzz Inferno as the first paddle since Joola's Gen 3 that wowed them, though colorways played differently.
“The original Inferno was first paddle since short lived Joola gen 3 that was a wow.”

“I’ve bought 4 original Infernos since last November (basically on a 3-month subscription at this point)”

Even after adding weight to the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2, its put-away power stayed frustratingly low.
“I had to add quite a bit of weight to the jellybean 2 to improve twist weight, which added more pop on softer shots. However the put away power was still very low.”
Disliked the Vapor Power 2's muted feel and found its control the worst of the foam paddles they tried.
“I tried the Vapor and Ultre P2 but ended up not liking it because of how muted it felt. Sound didn't match the power output.”
Much less poppy than the Vapor Power 2 even new, and a game changer for them.
“The widebody spitfire is much less poppy.”
Switching from the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2, they find the Ultré Power 2's control better than expected with a massive sweet spot.
“After experiencing the Ultre’ I will probably never play widebody again, and the control on the power 2 is much better than expected. Sweet spot on the Ultre is MASSIVE.”
Tried the Vapor and Ultré Power 2 and disliked their muted feel; they had the worst control of any foam paddle they've used, with balls sailing long or popping up.
“I played with other foam paddles including a Boomstik and by far the Power 2 have the worst control for me. Balls kept sailing long or popping up”
Massive sweet spot, perfect for two-handed backhands and a shape they love, but it's really, really poppy.

It breaks in only slightly and stays very poppy; they've had to loosen their grip on drops and resets.
“It breaks in ever so slightly, but it's still a very poppy paddle.”

Briefly demoed the Perseus Pro IV when it came out and fell in love with it: great power and pop, with generous dwell time to shape the ball.
“It had great power and pop but it still felt like it had a generous dwell time to shape the ball.”
Doubted long-lasting grit mattered until they got the Ultré Power 2: its grit doesn't die and the core lasts a long time before it changes.
“I thought the same thing until I got an Ultré Power 2. The grit doesn’t die and the core lasts a long time before it starts changing.”
A 4.5+ player loves the Pegasus Jelly Bean 2: muted, fast in the hands, with put-away power and amazing spin.
“I heard some say it was for beginners but I'm a 4.5+ and love it. I didn't realize how much a more muted paddle could bring me back to my natural game.”

Owns the Black Opal Elongated and says its Diamond Tough surface is holding up just fine.
A 4.8 player says the V-Sol Pro helped them improve, but they hated its non-linear power response from the baseline.
A 4.8 player found the Graf Pro V 16mm good to them, but too slow and clunky at the kitchen and when crashing, and its 4.25-inch handle too large.
Prefers the Kosmos 14mm for how it moves through the air on aggressive volleys, but after two weeks finds it a little too stiff; adding weight helped a little.
This player has had good results with the Vatic Pro Saga: put-away power with a soft touch on softer shots.
“I have personally had luck the Vatic Saga which still has put away power but soft touch for softer shots.”
Owns the Luzz Inferno and the Enhance MPP Turbo, which is meant to play like it: very close, but the Turbo feels a bit harsher on impact and vibration.
After trying the Honolulu J2CR and the other 11SIX24 Power 2 shapes, settled on the Ultré Power 2 as their main: HexGrit with more spin than a Boomstik, and plenty of power and pop. They haven't found anything better.

“I’ve got the spitfire elongated and it definitely took a few hours to break in”
Finds the Ultré Jelly Bean 2's new EMA foam plays great and feels plush stock, but it is heavy (8.7 oz with their grip and film, against 7.7 oz for their Ultré Power 2), and results vary from session to session.
“That new EMA foam plays great but honestly not my favorite because of how heavy it makes the paddle feels.”
Bought the shop's demo J2CR because the new stock units had less grit and looked discoloured; a good J2CR is wonderful, but quality control is inconsistent.
“if you get a J2CR with that isn't defective, they're wonderful”
